EASA FTL Calc 2.6.3

EASA OPS Rules for Flight Time Limitations (FTL) have been in effect since February 18, 2016.

EASA FTL Calc facilitates the calculation of various parameters such as cockpit and cabin limits, actual and maximum flight duty periods (FDP), latest on-block times, duty periods (DP), actual and minimum rest times, state of acclimatization, commanders' discretion, managing disruptive schedules, ensuring required local nights at your home base, accounting for extended recovery rest periods, and monitoring cumulative duties over 7/14/28 days.

It takes into account standby and airport standby, extension of cabin FDP due to earlier reporting times, situations of delayed reporting, in-flight rest regulations for cockpit and cabin crew (with distinct guidelines), split duty scenarios, extensions, positioning requirements, time zone discrepancies, company-specific minimum rest mandates, location of your home base, and operations involving "back to back" flights.

To streamline the process for users:

• Select an airport from the database to determine time zones automatically.
• Choose the reporting airport for the first duty day and the resting airport per duty day.
• The next reporting airport will correspond to the last resting airport.
• Preferences for your home base are stored for future use.

EASA FTL Calc differs from a flight log application:

• No need to input every block time.
• No management of block times or their cumulative limits is necessary.
• Imported flights can be displayed for informational purposes.
